CERN Director-General designated Prof. Mark Thomson has visited the AMBER facility on 8 May 2025

We were honored by the visit of CERN Director-General Mark Thomson to our experimental area. During the visit, we discussed the AMBER physics programme, the unique features of the spectrometer, our close collaboration with CERN, and our plans for the coming years.

We were particularly pleased to see that Mark was impressed by both the scale of the AMBER facility and the breadth and versatility of our physics programme. We greatly appreciate CERN’s continued support and look forward to strengthening our collaboration as we advance our understanding of strong-interaction physics in the years ahead.
